Get item from someone elses raid

Tried with Trophies from TOC25.

We did alt and main run back to back on our off night.

Does not work.

Gives the error message " You may only trade bound items to players that were orignally eligible to loot the item"

It seems this works for some items and not for others, feel free to PM about items it does not work for and items it does and I will update my main post.

I think he means that, if the same item drops from both raids. And the other guy didn't won it. And the other did. Then he can trade.

Am I right?

Using an example in the hopes that different wording might help some people understand:
Your main toon sees Deaths Verdict drop in a ToC25 run, but you lose the roll.
10 minutes later, your friend sees Deaths Verdict drop in a different ToC25 raid.
Your friend would be able to trade that item with you, despite both players being from seperate raid ID's.

(Assuming this works)

dbb drops. he wins.
dbb drops for you. but you lose.

you both hearth he gives you dbb.

profit.

We tried this with about 2-3 ICC items that our DE'er still had in his bags from another run

Well to bad this was able to be confirmed more. I still think most people are having problems with the concept both people have to have seen the item drop to be flagged as eligible for that item which has an ID not a raid ID.

I fully understand the concept, it DOES NOT WORK. You skipped completely over the post i made above, our DE'er had items in his bag that were never DE'd. 2 of those items dropped in my run, so we had 2 of each of those items, 2 from my run 2 from his run he could NOT trade them with anyone
