[Useless?] 1Triumph without getting saved

Hello, i just left a Forge of souls HC during the FIRST boss without getting a deserter mark, so i rejoined the queue instantly (With a tank so it went faster), and suddenly my chatlog says "You received loot: Emblem of Triumph"....

and a few seconds after that FoS HC pops and my group joins thats 3 people from my server and the whole instance is respawned.
(I did not get to see if i was saved before i joined the FoS with the new group)

The reason i saw this in any way usefull would be that you could farm battered hilt at the first trash, jump on the boss, leave and get an extra triump without getting saved.

battered hilt never drops from the 1st lot of trash from what iv seen

no it didnt they hotfixed hilt farming

The hilt can drop from any trash except for the 8k hp skeletons. So it's entirely possible he got it.

I've seen battered hilt drop from the first skeleton in the instance

hilt will drop from any ELITE trash in any of the new instances. hilt will NOT drop from NON-ELITE trash since last patch. kkthxbia

I bet you joined random group search and with luck, ended again in FoS.

Or run ICC5 normal mode and get triumphs easily, farmable, with no lockout (except instance hourly limit)

or i didnt, cause i dont do random HCS, think a little.

How the random system works is you can do as many heroics as you want in a day as long as they are random, Ive been lucky enough to do PoS 5 times in one day. There is no easy way to exploit this unless you have a very fast que time.
