Mind Control Immunity

Any good shadowpriest will mind control say another shadowpriest in a duel to let dots tick and for fear / silence to come back off cooldown. Although, any channeling spell (mind flay, arcane missles) used while the mind control is being cast will make the person using the channeled spell completely immune to mind control, unable to be casted on again.

isn't crashin' thrashin' racers a channeled spell? (I know it can be used in combat) I would try this out but I don't have a shadow priest friend Would be excellent for those classes that don't have channeled spells.

When you do this, do you keep the buff called 'Mind Control' you get while casting mind control? And if so, does it only last a minute (immunity, not buff) or permanent? And if permanent, does it last through logging?

I tested this and it doesn't work. If he means players channelling a spell are immune to MC, hes Wrong

Thats not what it says. Try this.

Cast Mind Control. Wait 3 or so seconds, so the cast completes. Then, cast mind flay or divine hymn. Next, have someone try to Mind Control you. If he's not lying you should not be able to be mind controlled.
