2 Hours Later exalted with Sons of Hodir

Okay, so I picked up some of the sons of hodir commendation badges and just started using them. What i forgot to do was start my rep with them. I used about 17 commendations before i realized i was 8k into hated. Once I completed the Forging an alliance quest, it automatically put me up to revered. I dont know if this was working as intended, or if me using commendations before every starting rep with them caused some sort of glitch. If anybody has an alt to try this on to verify I would be very appreciative. hope this helps and works for everybody else, it did for me : )

You used 17 commendations, the quest you later made gives some rep as well and it probably brought you up past revered. Sorry, this is the correct way it works.

At base the quest chain also takes you to honored, meaning even as a non human you can get to exalted with <400 relics. As reflection said it gives a base amount of reputation. So if you use anything that increases rep before, the rep from completing the q will be added on to that.

There's this thing called patches, try downloading one once in a while.

Prepatch the quest would take you to neutral and you'd have to go from there. It's honored @ base now.

can actually confirm this a bit. used one commendation badge when i had no reputation with them at all and ended up being hated. then i followed the quest chains to get neutral and ended up being honored after i talked to thorim at the last quest chain part
