[Useless/Useful] Rekill the quest target!

Hey guyz. All made on Retail(EU), Moonglade.
I got a lvl 80 char on retail, but forgot to make the sholazar faction quests. So i started them today. There's a quest: The Lost Mistwhisper Treasure - Quest - World of Warcraft [oracle-sided] in which you have to kill Warlord Tartek. Everything went well, I killed the frenzyhearted and his puppy-dragon, but i couldnt loot them,so i restarted wow with a simple alt+f4.
When i logged back, the corpses were there, but ive seen the yells again and the npc-s attacked me again.I tried once again, and succeeded.As others say, its working.

When I was leveling my mage I had the little "helper" out and he aggro a bunch of mobs up to me when I cause the guy to spawn. After I killed all of them including the named, I walked over to loot the item and it caused the named to spawn again. Not sure if it's really an exploit, however it does spawn the boss multiple times if you walk near the orb, so it does indeed do what you say.

isn't that just an event that normally starts when a players gets near the altar? and still, since most quest mobs don't even drop loot this is pretty useless.

1st this mob drops loot.
2nd I wasnt close to the altar.
3rd I think it gives xp,but im not sure as i made it on lvl 80.
