Cheese the Lich King gauntlet in Halls of Reflection

I've found a really easy way to kind of cheese the HoR gauntlet.

When you start the Lich King event in your party, get everyone to stand on this spot:



And just let the Lich King and Sylvanas run past you.

The Lich King won't go back to kill you with Remorseless Winter, instead he will still go for Sylvanas, but all the trash mobs jumps to where the party is. With this method they will jump to behind where the LK is.

This makes the gauntlet really easy simply because you can gather every mob on the same spot once they spawn, and you don't need to wait till they get to you. I tank as a DK (if it isn't glaringly obvious by the screenshot :P), so a single Death and Decay holds aggro of them all.

At the end you can simply run past the Lich King (since he will lose his Remorseless Winter buff), and the call is simply a graphical wall, you can run through it.

I hope you enjoy this. This instance can be really annoying for tanks

well it may be easier to tank but it won't be easier to heal. and since it is fairly easy to tank to begin with and only difficult to heal(shadow volley and abomination puke and all) I wouldn't really recommend it if your healer isn't the best.

I did it with a Holy Priest, you can't get much worse than that. :P

Yep, Holy Priests are bad?? Ofc not.. I play one and solo heal 10 mans all the time

It just seems that most Holy Priests I play with have huge mana problems.

Anyway, screenshot of the exploit working, did a normal on my DPS DK. No cloak though

This works, but only the aboms will spawn on your group, the rest spawn with the lich king.

Haven't tried this yet but wouldn't it take ages for the mobs the Lich King summons to run back to the group?

no, the event goes faster if you do it this way

been doing this for a while, just make sure you have your group members stand off to the side so they dont get instagibbed from abominations spawning on top of you
