at 100 power he casts his debuff (Mark of the Fallen Champion - Spell - World of Warcraft)
if he targets you with the spell you have to cast vanish/feign/invis the exact same time he finishes the cast

you get no debuff and boss is at 0 power again ... with some luck on the targets he picks your group can fully avoid the enrage like mechanic on this boss for an easy kill

if you vanish too soon the boss stays at 100 energy and just picks another target
if you vanish too late you just get the debuff

Edit: Nvm i remembered that this is a known ''Bug'' with vanish / invis / feign. Ive seen it lots of times in PVP aswell.. stupid rogues vanishing my chaos bolt away

You can "simultaneous action bug" virtually any boss ability or normal ability in the game if you are pro enough. While this is a good use of it, it is unfortunately nothing new in the sense of the bug that causes this to occur. For example, I often time my invis to immune icehowl's massive crash.

I can confirm this worked for a rogue in our group. He vanished at the right time and the stack was reset to 0 without a mark being cast.
