Gain Lieutenant Rank at the start of Wintergrasp (and win it really fast)

How to gain Lieutenant at the beginning:


About 20 minutes before the battle, you should kill exactly 14 NPCs or players. The first five kills result in a promotion to corporal. The next
nine kills allows you to be one kill short of earning lieutenant rank.
It is important not to have more than 14 kills.

In the player's buff bar, there should be nine kills displayed towards the promotion to lieutenant. Upon reaching one kill short of lieutenant,
you need to go back to Dalaran and enter the Wintergrasp queue for the next battle. You then fly back to Wintergrasp or use the
Wintergrasp protal before the battle begins.

There is a clock that counts down before the Wintergrasp battle starts. At 20 seconds before the battle starts, fly down to an enemy NPC and
get into combat with him. Do not kill the NPC. Stay in combat with an occasional hit but it is very important not to kill the enemy until after the battle has started.
Right after the battle starts, surrounding NPCs despawn except for those that are in combat. Ranks of WoW players not in combat disappear as well.
Kill the NPC after the beginning of the battle, which will count towards a promotion. If you were one kill short of being lieutenant, the promotion will occur upon killing the NPC.
Now that you have earned Lieutenant at the very beginning of the battle run to a workshop and start creating demolishers and siege engines for other
players within the first two minutes.
Lean back and watch.

It is NOT working as intended.. Obviously you didnt read the whole thread..
Ofc you gain ranks when you kill NPCs but you are supposed to lose all rank buffs when Wintergrasp starts. This doesnt happen though when you are infight.

I actually got this accidentally a while ago I was like wtf when i got lieutenant rank after killing an turret in the enemy tower. I killed the turret obviously after the game had started tho.

this is useful. the Horde on ravencrest use use A LOT, but if it works it works, i dont consider it unfair, because either faction can do it.

Haven't they already nerfed the ability to keep building siege vehicles though? While this is cool and all, there is a 2 min timer between each vehicle you can make.

In 3.3 you won't be able to do this anymore tho.
So to those who didn't know and wants to try it, you should do it now because the patch hits live servers next week, most likely.
