On top of Blacksmith(Arathi Basin) No engineering!

I've been lurking a few months, sitting on this exploit, making sure it's definitely not old, and I'm quite convinced that it's new and all you BGers will love me for it.

STEP 1: Approach the back entrance of Blacksmith. Be on the right side of the doorway above the small ramp.


STEP 2: Bump up the corner of the doorframe.


STEP 3: While bumped up and walking forward, jump and you should land on the top of the doorframe(make sure to jump forward a second time to make sure you're as far on the frame as possible)


STEP 4: This is where your race is important. If you're a shorter race, mount up. If you're a taller race, disregard this step.


STEP 5: Jump towards the corner shown here. You should land in mid-air. DO NOT MOVE


STEP 6: Once stuck in the air, jump straight up and inch forward during this jump. You should get stuck higher up than you were before.


STEP 7: Run to the side from underneath the corner of the roof, then run straight onto the roof. Congratulations! You're on the Blacksmith Roof no matter who you are!!!

Everything up to step 7 works fine on a female human, but I can't seem to figure out what to do past there (I might just be dumb). Still, good find, and do you have any suggestions?

The character I originally discovered this on was a human male, and I believe the physical proportions are the same, so you shouldn't need a mount.

A problem I had with this originally was that if I didn't jump at just the right place, I would get stuck on the first invisible stepping stone, in that if I tried to jump, I would instantly hit something and go back down.

My only recommendation is to keep trying from slightly different distances, make sure you're doing a standing jump, and try both with and without the mount.

What exactly is the problem you're having with step 6-7?

Took me a while to do this as an orc, but managed to after a couple of tries...Sadly it took the Alliance 10 seconds to kill me

If you navigate the roof quickly enough, you can LoS all ranged attackers unless they're on you from multiple sides.

In which case, you're a goner. =P
