    Ontop of IF bank, auction house and flighttunnel!

    Please read carefully before whining about things not working.
    Works as of 18/10-09



    So.. ive been inactive for some time, but now i've found this awesome new thing that i hope you'll appreciate and have as much fun with as ive had.


    You'll have to know how to get ontop of ironforge mountain, and ive decided not to include that as there's probably loads of posts covering that.
    Other than that, you'll need to be a mage, or have a mage with you.




    First of all! Get to this location on IF mountain.




    Should be looking like this. Follow the red arrow down to the little hill down the mountain.




    Get even further down, so you can see the lookout buildings.




    Get in position and jump onto the wide, middle, flat building roof. Its the one just right of the gates.




    Follow the edge, onto the tiny little bit of building coming out of the mountain. You cant miss it.




    While you're here, place yourself ontop of the little cross made of snow, all while facing the mountain. Now blink or get sheeped until you end up on the other side. DO NOT RUN WHILE DOING THIS, OR YOU WILL FALL DOWN.




    Now, should look alot like this if you blinked. Be careful, but move right, following the edge.




    Now, mount up and run straight foward, no need to jump. Aim for the platform below.




    Place yourself on your mount like this, get slow fall and run straight forward.
    Be sure that you've placed yourself correctly, pointing slightly to the right. Again no need to jump, just run.
    The world will turn blank, but dont worry.




    You should come out like this, and the world should appear If you cancel your slowfall about 2 seconds before this point, you will end up in the flighttunnel where the alliance passes when they fly to/from IF. From there you can jump down onto the auctionhouse roof.

    Yes that IS the Old Crafty in my bag 6):



    From here you can jump onto the roof to the right, and left of the bank. Happy ganking I was able to cast 41 yard spells fairly far away from there, so great spot!




    You might agro guards, and they bug and WILL hit you through the roof. You can run ontop of the pillars, supporting the roof, to make them start evading and eventually resetting, letting you drink and eat up.





    That should open loads of options for everyone interrested in exploiting and having a fun time ganking.

    Mind you that if you're standing on the edge like in the picture where i am casting, you will be knocked down if you get death coiled! Be fast on the iceblock/trinket :confused:

    Living bomb is OP for this btw.. just a heads up!

    Even on private servers gold are capped at 2xx,xxx. Had some photoshop fun with those pics while masking names.
    This is all done on live servers, and working.

    Been searching for like 20 mins around the forums with keywords such as 3.2 ironforge bank auction house. Didnt get any pops and didnt browse the 100s of pages..

    But oh my this forum is more unfriendly than i thought, so not trying to contribute again.

    Im gettin really tired of the mass amount of posts about Ironforge and ALL of them relate to the same thing.

    Ontop IF
    Get on top of IF
    On top IF Auction House
    On top IF bank house
    Wave at people flying outside IF
    Gank people in IF
    etc , etc , etc

    Every single one running ontop IF and blink/unstuck in the exact same spot above the gate.
    Every1 knows Jesus was a shaman, think about it the reincarnate, the waterwalking... comon he was cc'd d for days!

    If you did read the post after all, you might've noticed i just came back after quite a break, and might not be up to date with posts..
    On a sidenote, after putting hours into shooting, scaling and masking these pics, it really isnt the best feeling getting spammed to your grave, when its quite obvious i put quite some effort into it.
