Pretty good idea in theory, but do you think you might be able to get a few screenshots of say a warrior with an item with WF etc on it and actually doing WF damage (like in a combat log or something)?
That would be awesome thanks![]()
before posting test if it really is still tradable after enchanting and if the enchant persists on the wapon thru trade
boy, you should look on the first screen on Grid ;D
hm, but i think this will work, nice found man !

does not work, just tested on Thunderhorn, US. it says "Temporarily enchanted items cannot be traded".. i tried removing the enchant, then putting it in the trade window, then windfurying it, and when i clicked trade with both, both characters DC'ed and the trade did not go through.![]()
Are you sure you can trade the item and it's not just misstype on the item? Seem this aswell on my shaman but never tried giving it to anyone.
Did this but you cant trade them.
Had the bladestorm axe from armory and after putting windfury on it try'ed trading it with my warrior friend also in the party.
Anoying as hell when you're leveling a Shaman and every 30min it asks performing this action will make this item bound to you are you sure you want to do this.
After 2 hours you'll be happy the messages are gone.
Do not forget WF 3 second internal CD ( at least it was when i stopped playing xD )
So maybe a Warrior with WF + Rockbitter/Flametongue 2 Handeds would do better =]
EDIT : bah looks like doesnt work =P
"Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
Well- it seems I jumped the gun on this and created some uproar for nothing-
My apologies, I'll get this topic outta' your way =P
I don't see the exploit here because it got deleted but from reading up the posts it has something to do with windfury on other classes. I made a video when the exploit worked.

Watch in HQ for easier to see numbers and graphics.
The class specific enchants only work for the person that actually enchanted it. This means that you can't get high level windfury on your lowbie warriors weapon, or high level shaman enchant on lowbie shaman, etc. If player "Noob" enchants a grey quality weapon with windfury, windfury will only work for "Noob", nobody else. Before 3.1, class specific enchants procced for anyone, regardless of class/level, if you could give them the enchant somehow. I personally tested this with DK Enchant RotFC on my ret paladin, Windfury on my ret paladin, flameongue on lowbie rogue, flametongue on lowbie feral cat druid (oddly flametongue procced with the strength of the original weapon speed, so flametongue procs would be like 3.6 speed strength on 1.0 speed paw. Hit really hard really fast) and level 80 windfury/flametongue on lowbie shaman, and ALL worked before 3.1 and NONE worked after 3.1 became live.
