[MAGES] Buff yourself with Focus Magic

Get a priest to Mind Control any mob such as Gamon in Orgrimmar.

A mage can now buff Gamon with Focus Magic then when Mind control runs out the mage then can spell steal the buff from Gamon.

only lasts for 2 minutes but nice trick for dueling or w/e.

Of course it's an exploit. Mages arent meant to be able to buff themselves with focus magic, no matter how long it lasts.

Oh, get a grip. It's SpellSteal, one of the most abused spells second only to ShadowStep and Blink. Considering it's been used to Solo Military Wing in Naxx I don't think gaining a 2 min focus magic with it is an exploit at all. This can also be used for pretty much any buff, even PoM(last I checked).

This is working as intended.. of course you aren't supposed to "BUFF" yourself with Focus Magic because then it would be a 30 minute buff.

No... This is not an exploit. The whole point is that you put Focus Magic on someone, and then spellsteal it off.... That's like putting Dampen Magic on your self, dueling a random mage, and having the mage Spellsteal the buff off you.

This isn't exactly worthless, but it really isn't the best exploit, but I will +REP this, cause I had no idea this worked.

It clearly states "cannot be cast on self". Its not meant to be buffed on urself. By this, u can get 6% more crit instead of 3%.
