Not been a member long, and i'm also not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, ran a couple of dire maul related searches and not found anything, so apologies if it's been posted or doesn't count... or something.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To do this you need to be a ranged class, hunter/mage/warlock I guess would work, even shaman
(shocks, etc) but no rogues/warriors.You also need to be able to solo the trash, luckily it's only the small groups, 1 ogre +2-3 dogs, 2 ogres (mage/warrior type), and the normal doggies, which are groups of 3-5. Only done this with mage and not tried any other classes, so sorry.
Figured out the other day while faffing about on my mage, how you can solo pretty much anything in dire maul north, that you can pull to this one specific point.
So far i've soloed the first guard, the second guard, and stomper kreeg. Illustrations below!
First, enter the instance via the north entrance (crescent key or die and ressurect under the door).
Take out the 2 patrols. (Which respawn after an hour or 2? Not sure, but remember to reclear if you're still in later on) And carefully go down (Stick to the right) in to the courtyard, pull and kill all of the dogs on the right, 'til the courtyard looks like this.

Then solo your way around the right ledge, to this point, here.

Now there are 2 "spots", the first is actually on the rock slope, in the below picture, the "left" side of the gap, the second is on the "right" side of the little gap. (And it was a crappy 5 min paint drawup, didn't notice the "2" looks more like a "?" but you get the point.)

It's as simple as go behind the boss, pull him with your biggest damage spell. Then run to spot 2, when he's close, fire blast(Or other instant) and jump to spot 1, wait 'til he's just in range, fire another instant, hop back to spot 2. Can fit in the odd 1.5~ sec cast spell also once he's running back, when you just jumped down to spot 1.
Some of the bosses charge every now and then, so I usually just keep the boss bouncing up to spot 2, where a charge only knocks me down past spot 1, and you can quickly climb back up the rock before he reaches you.
Not that great on money, dogs drop items worth 20s now and then, ogres drop runecloth/items and 10-25 or so silvers, boss drops greens/blues (BoP), stomper drops crap, but occasionally a mace.. Still thought i'd share, though.
