As you probably know, Hand of Reckoning does no damage in PvP.
It DOES however, Keep your targets in combat.
Now, you're probably wondering, "Why would i need to keep my targets in combat if im already fighting them?"
Weellll... Here's a couple uses.
1. Rogue gouged you and ran away to restealth? Can't stealth if he got put back in combat.
2. Priest/Pally/Druid running to drink in arena? Throw a HoR at them before they turn the corner and its another 4 seconds of them not regaining mana.
3. Chasing someone down somewhere? Hit them with Hand of Reckoning and they can't mount up to fly away or mount/run away.
There are probably even more uses for this, but those are the main 3 I use them for.
