Make LOTS of gold with trading over faction

Hi!

Has been a while since I posted here before, but I think this one deserves to be mentioned.

Prepare for wall of text - but I think it's worth it. Read it all and you'll see.

As some of you, probably not everyone know - Blizzard made it possible to create characters of BOTH factions on PVP servers in patch 3.2. This means that you can have BOTH Horde and Alliance characters on the same server.

Does it ring any bells yet?

This opens a big opportunity to make some big and FAST gold.

It's as simple as buying cheaper items on one side and then resell them for more on the other one. Just check the AH for the right things to buy n' sell.

Use the neutral AH for trading over items and gold - since you are NOT able to mail stuff to the other faction. You loose 15%-20% (don't know exactly how much) since the AH cut. But on MANY servers the difference of values on items is BIG!

For an example I bought 10 on those new epic gems for 400g each and resold em' on opposite faction for 850g each. So enjoy while it lasts - before everyone else figures this out!

Well it's not exactly a new technique, some players with more then one account have been using this method for a while, but yeah I guess it opens up for everyone now.

Its 15%. I've been doing this almost the entire year on 2 accs and made more gold then i spend.

The thing is you don't need two accounts anymore, so I guess it's something new...but ey - maybe I'm wrong.

I know a guy since pre tbc who did this. I farmed fel cloth to him everyday. His main was ally and he was mage so

You can also now camp out at the Nuetral AH on PvP servers and wait for those 1g auctions on expensive items to pop up.

Unless they've changed the way Auction Houses work, you cannot bid/buyout any item you've posted from the same account.

Ye, already got my twink acc placed in Ratchet and he keeps autobuying (Auctioneer + Bottomscanner + AutoIt Autoclicker) Items that are sold for under 6% of AH Value since yesterday morning. I easily made 20k up to now. Also every 3rd to 4th mail is a hate-mail or begging mail.

auctioneer still makes the most money if you put the time into it, i make 2K gold every day i log in. at 140K gold on the same server, split between couple toons ofcourse.
