Wow, a new useful exploit thats never been posted before. Its been a while. + rep

Easy for feral druids. I go in, kill 3 kinds of trash (the pat, the slavehandler and the bogstroks), kill Ahune, loot the chest, go out, reset (set dungeon diffculty to normal and then back to heroic) and then repeat it all over.
Each complete run takes 12 minutes, and I think it's possible to enter 5 different instances per hour. This makes it possible for me to do Ahune farming with no stop. Thanks a lot for this exploit.

long time reader, first time poster. about time that i contribute something, so here it goes.

you can do this with multiple people, all you have to do is:

1) drop group

2) re-invite members before you summon, i use a macro:

/invite player1
/invite player2
etc.

tell them to not accept the invite until you have summoned ehune

3) summon

4) drop group before ehune dies, loot chest. no one gets saved.

5) zone out, reset instance

the downfall to this method is that only the original group leader will be able to loot the chest, so you can take turns group leading until you all get the pet.

This is soloable by a ret pally. Mine isn't very geared, just a midlevel mix of epics. Frost resistance aura helps a little. Biggest thing is to kite the groups in a circle through your consecrates to avoid the ice spikes summoned from the floor. And try to get as close to Ahune as possible when the frozen core is about to become attackable. Then DPS it like you're trying to solo Chillmaw and it should die in two cycles. Three if you are unlucky or too far away when you should be dpsing core.

awesome, been soloing all day to get the staff

few tips:
stay in bear form if youre a druid, taking hits in human will kill you.
always be walking backwards in a circle, youll avoid getting stuck on the floor, falling, and the spikes. spam swipe except when mangle is up, then back to swiping, and blow cool downs on the core.

ive been getting him down in 3 cores as a naxx 10 geared feral.

I can't seem to get it to reset. I did it earlier with a group (regular and heroic) and tried to go back later by myself. Guess you can't do that?
