Blink, Slowfall(duh), Charge/Intercept, and Pally bubbles are all well-known methods of avoiding falling damage. That said, it's always fun to find new places or ways to use them. The OP doesn't deserve to be flamed for explaining his fun trick.
My pally had a ton of fun when he was young flagging in areas with high level Horde around and convenient cliffs nearby. Many was the Hordie he led to their death. SPLAT!!!![]()
ok, first of all, good post. i often slow fall first, then blink when its a long fall. if it's a real long fall, i slow fall straight down, which is kinda cool.
second, i don't know how many times i have to tell you stupid ****ing fifth grade bitches to stop flaming people. you should go outside during recess instead of waste your time flaming people that are trying to help. i personally enjoyed this post. if you want to bitch about something being an exploit or not, talk to the mods about starting a "tips and tricks" category instead of bundling it all into the exploits section. not every exploit is intended to give you an advantage in the game. many are for attention, and many are for personal enjoyment. get off your high horse and fat asses and do something productive, you pathetic pukes!
i know ozrien, it wasn't as nice and professional as my post on your lock thread, but these retards are starting to get on my nerves...
sol82, thank you. ^_^
By the way, the icon on this thread says "WoW TRICKS" I could've put "WoW EXPLOITS" but I didn't. So if you people are flaming me about this being an exploit when I clearly stated it's a TRICK not an exploit, then you must be a little slow in the head. Also, the movie is finally on YouTube, go to the first post and click the link to see the fun. But turn your volume down unless you like to rock out like me.
Edit:
The title DOES say "exploit..." Wonder why... I put "Fun Blink Trick" as the title.

this is funny.
it was good, don't flame me about this, but isn't this exactly the same as in AB when some mages blink off the cliff in lumber mill then slow-fall down to blacksmith?
Ehm, if I understand the OP correctly this isn't to avoid fall damage, but to get extra speed when using slowfall, am I correct?
I think I got it know, you blink, get teleported into mid-air then slow fall straight down, eh?
The only problem with that, is if you blink before you reach any kind of a ledge (be it a bridge, end of platform, ledge, mountian side, etc) you will stop at that ledge. IE, you blink 1.5ft in front of a bridge, you blink to the leading edge of that bridge (1.5ft), not the normal blink radius you would generally attain. Even if you blink straight after you jump, run over, across, that ledge, you still get tp'd to the leading edge, unless you wait a few.
Yes, I know the OP said blink after the slowfall, not challanging that, just the last poster, trying to clarify things =)
nice one !=)
lol love it. good thing i have a 70 mage =)
well mmpwned has a point. something must be up if someone is -17 rep. you'd really have to piss off a mod probably.
This goes for posters on page 1: Stop flaming the OP... Your not doing anything to help the community by saying: WTF THIS IS GAY THIS ISNT AN EXPLOIT. GTFO, WoW Exploits Exploits, Tips, and Tricks for World of Warcraft.
[NO QUESTIONS HERE].. You people got to learn how to read... and for those asking how he got -17 rep it was because a mod got mad at him or he got reported. Thank you OP that was very nice of you to try to help the community +Rep to the OP
Trying is the First step towards faliure. Snitchstianity
