You can recast HoW before it runs out.
I even have it part in my rotation because it gives RP.
I more or less ALWAYS have HoW on, so I guess this could be good.

This only works until something procs or u gain any buffs which increase ur stats, worked for me until that happened
What I wrote was that I didn't get the bonus AP from Frost Presence b4 ten minutes (I might think it comes faster when zoning tho), and when I first got it I used HoW and then back to blood presence. Well, I didn't see it I got AP from the presence or the buff, but all AP was lost when I lost HoW anyway.
This is fixed.
Wouldn't be surprised.
didnt work for me =/
The OP said he saw a 300 ap boost roughly, well if you think about it HoW is 155 STR, which is just about that much. Myth busted.
working
but like the guy above me said... its ****ing useless
it was stolen from d3 forum and i made some math there, i think this is about a ~5 AP increase but only as long as ur ap doesnt change (procs, buffs, debuffs)
edit: 155str equals about 450 ap (for unholy)... so **** this bug
The reason people are saying this isn't working is because the OP explained it wrong. I tabbed out to try this myself and at first, following the given directions, it did not work. Frost presence never gave me an AP bonus when I switched because Bladed Armor gives you the bonus as soon as it's activated. Thus, you need to have a dual spec without bladed armor to do this.
To get it to work correctly:
Go to your non-Bladed Armor spec, turn on frost presence.
Switch to your bladed armor spec, and notice "Wow, I just got an extra 600 AP!"
Turn on HoW "Wow, I just got another 300 AP!"
Switch to blood presence "HOLY $#^@ IT DOES WORK"
Although this is useless. Like said above, if it falls off or if your AP is affected in any way, it updates and corrects it's mistake. Would maybe be good for the first 1-2 hits in a duel before your fallen crusader procs, otherwise you'll never really see the effects of this.
Such an old exploit, you can do the same thing with frost presence extra HP...... Btw its only a tooltipbug, did you notice that each time you get a buff the extra AP goes away ...
Does Not Work the person who said it did proberly confused it with the fact of using horn of winter
This is only a tooltip bug.
it's a client side bug, doesn't work. just takes a little while for the AP amount to change
