While in a main city type /2 (trade channel) and say anything you want. (as long as it's short. Then hit the space bar until your first letter dissapears, then once more. Next type [2. Trade] [<GM>Thallass]: And say something. It should look something like this:

[2. Trade] [Your-username]: What ever you wana say.
[2. Trade] [<GM>Thallass]: The trade channel is for selling / buying purposes only, If you wish to talk to someone personally please wisper them.

You can use any GM name you want, and what ever text you want.
I use this trick to stop trade channel spamming on my server.
I Hope this made sence, and yes I know something similar has been posted before. (I just added the GM part ).

All you need is someone who isn't retarded enough to fall for this, and voila, account banned.

GMs can't be found by /who anyway, though, so shift-clicking doesn't work even if it's a legit GM.

Over half the GM staff on board at Blizz now came from EverQuest as a player prior to Blizz hiring them. Several lead designers were in an EQ guild called Fires of Heaven... so MOST of the GMs refer to private messages as "tells"... you may use that instead since you cannot spell Whisper for p00p

And yeah... this WILL get you banned on one shot if reported.

You sir are the retarded one, GM's cannot be /whoed they have a special signature in which makes them basically invisible. of course a GM can always turn off his "invisibility" but this only happens in rare cases.

You CAN shift click GM name, tho it apperas 0 players online of your faction with that name. (or something)
When u shit click the name in this little "trick" ^^, nothing happends.

Other funny thing is that I catch ppl do this all the time, cause I got widescreen lcd monitor and got a little more text each line then most of the n00bs do so it just looks n00b when then do it

I use a chatmod that puts timestamps in front of everything so its pretty obvious
