100% crit chance with combustion without casting fire spell

Ok, im sure many of you will complain and say "OMG this is common sense and not an exploit noob!" but if that is the case then oh well, you can get over it and the thread can be deleted if need be.

Im only trying to help, as is everyone here in the community, so please take that into account!

Anyways:

If your a fire mage with combustion, you can get it to 100% crit without actually using any of the charges.

Combustion goes up by 10% everytime the DOT effects of pyro and fireball hit. These don't crit. so if you use pyro and then fireball and then combustion straight after then wait until the DOT's wear off and you should have 100% crit chance on your next three fire spells.

Not extrememly awesome and certainly not something wow! But if you need to kick some big guy's ass it helps to know your gonna crit three times with pyro!

It takes probably less than 10sec to happen... and you can always cast other moves during that time! im simply stating that it probably wasnt supposed to be able to do this, and generally. I do it on mob 1, and he dies if i use maybe two or three other moves, so then when I vs mob 2, i know that the first three shots are guranteed crits, so its good to do three pyros in a row and three shot elites

You can use this trick, have 3crits left and 100% crit, and THEN go to duel someone or kill some random elite guy etc.

Yes this is a good idea... hit a low-end mob, then go for the boss. Nice way of setting yourself up for the best chance of winning the boss. But I dont think its an exploit as such, but just a cool way of using game mechanics.

Also, it increases the crit of your fire spells, so it's possible to cast frost or arcane spells that gimp your dps marginally while the combustion stacks up like crazy >.<

The 3 crits will easily make up for the tiny dps loss.

I see this getting changed. I know hes not cheating really, but hes using a spell in a way that was unintended by blizz.

Paladins used to have a similar ability. Back when reckoning wasnt extra attacks, it used to be a charge based attack, more charges meant more dmg. Paladins would duel people till they had ungodly numbers of charges, then go to onyxia or some other boss and literally 1 shot them. And we all know what happened with that, Paladins now have a reckoning talent that no one ever takes outside of lvling.
