It's a repost of a repost! Strange how some people can't press "search".
Oh kewl :P
or just download no cd crack right. i thought wow doesnt req any cds but its changed with wotlk?
Aint this working as intended. I mean a surv hunter can't use some pets that you'd use as BM So if your needing to change spec alot for offtanking then its pretty much needed. Some how i doubt its an exploite. Otherwise it would off been fixed last patch.
No, because when you switch back to the previous spec again, Stabled Pet is off cooldown. Try this with any other spell (Divine Shield, Iceblock, etc.) and you'll see that the cooldowns stick. If it was working as intended, then there is no reason to have a cooldown on the spell (let alone 30 minutes).
Yes but iceblock doesn't make the build, where as Hunters pet can make or break abuild, As i said, if your running around in BM with your fancy pet out, when you switch you can not use that pet in any other Spec than a full 51point BM spec, And vise versa, if your in a raid and you need to keep changin specs for Off Tanking and DPS, You need the ability to change your pet when you change your spec, No other class requires this and you trying to compare it with Ice block and other spells is just an epic fail imo.
Basiclly a BM build is nothing without its pet. Hence the reset on Called Pet so hunters can change it during raids when needed without having to be summoned all the time just to quickly change pet.
As I stated before if it was a 'bug / exploite' it would of already been patched up by now.
[...]Even though [Call Stabled Pet] remains on a 30minute cooldown, Blizzard has linked a reset of the timer to the Dual-Spec capability. Everytime you switch talent-specs, [Call Stabled Pet] is made available[...]
I was merely using other class cooldowns as a comparison for the "mechanics" of talent swaps.
You're missing the point: If blizzard intended you to be able to hot-swap your pets at the same rate you change specs, they'd have made call stabled pet have no cooldown. As it stands, you need to purchase dual spec to be able to hot-swap pets. Coupled with the fact they haven't explicitly stated what you speculate to be their motive for resetting the cooldown, this is indeed an exploit for the time being; at least in my eyes![]()

It looks like it wasn't intended to be done, but if you couldn't do it, changing to an exotic pet with BM would be stupid..
Holy repost, batman!
It'll be fixed soon i think..
It wont be fixed soon, because it's working as intended...
