Avoid resetting pet talents when dual speccing

This is a continuation of the no-cd on call stable exploit.

Tired of pet talents resetting when you change your spec? I have found a way around it. The pets in the stable does not have its talents removed, so what I do is:

    1. Call Stable
    2. Take out a pet I don't play with a lot
    3. Do not close the stable
    4. Activate dual spec
    5. Take out the pet I want
    6. Close the stable

You will now have your new pet (or old if you didn't want to change pet) with all its talents still there, and your old pet will not lose his either. The only pet that loses the talents is the temporary one that you don't play with a lot. The reason why you shouldn't close the stable is that in doing this, your stable cooldown will not be activated after you dual spec. This means that you can do this trick anytime you want without thinking about the cooldown. If you had closed it, and then reused it, you wouldn't have been able to use this trick for another 30 minutes.

I hope this saves you a few talent clicks. =)

I doubt it, but haven't tried. My qualified guess is that it will reset its points when you take it out if that's the case. I've got 2 BM specs, so can't really try. =/

Hmmm not 100% but doesn't just dismissing your pet then changing spec then calling pet not save your pets spec from being wiped. Pretty sure it was only changing spec while pet was out that wiped it due to it removing pet.

Drythils, I have 2 BM, but did I say neither had the 4tp bonus? It's the opposite, both have it, so there's no difference in the end result. To be able to test it, I would have to have one with, and one without.

Kissy, not any longer, no. Only worked until the patch after dual specs were introduced.
