**** with Your own faction on elemental plat

Ever been farming on elemental plat when a member of ur own faction trys to grab to mob ur going for? well warlocks we can now fight back! as soon as you notice them going for the mob banish it, even if they tag it keep it chain banished eventually theyll get the picture that its urs and theyll **** off not before swearing at you alot though

Lol, then a mage pops up and rank 1 fireblasts the mobs you dot, You tag it and they hold aggro, they cant lose aggro unless they run out of aggro range, they have already taken dmg and they get pissed, smart warlocks will banish so they dont take much dmg from dots and run

or you hit them with fists, ice lance, rank 1 earthshock ect ect

What's also fun is, if you're a paladin. You stand in a tree and taunt the mob off the person, as long as it doesn't have any ranged abilities it evades. =P

Firstly it depends if your on a pvp or pve server, and secondly you report them first for harrasment and following you a tagging your mobs, thats what i did

why does it matter? it's your own faction.

and, I wonder if you can banish it, and then when they go for another mob, banish that one, and the other one will go after the attacker again.

Kinda depends on how the banishment is done... if you banish before they get to it, they cannot report you for crap, it is your mob... first to cast on it gets it.

My favorite thing on my pally is to holy shock a mob as the mage or other long cast class is casting any damage spell... say maybe fireball... instants beat long cast spells... so the holy shock lands just before the fireball, but they damage it for more, take agro, have to kill it... and I walk over and loot it.

It is HILARIOUS.

Often they dont have any idea WTF happened, they think I am somehow just able to loot their mob. They report me, I tell the GM I holy shocked and they tried to steal MY mob... and I never hear another word about it.

Warlocks on my server try to do this, and I generally just /lol at them and start AoE pulling.

A lot of times I'll pull a mob, the lock will banish it, then I'll just move on. Since he can't banish two mobs at once he will either rebanish the old on, meaning I'm going to keep killing new ones, or banish the new one, which means, depending on how much damage I did to the old one, the old mob will probably come attack the warlock instead of me, since banishing causes a lot of threat. Thing is, I'll still have it tagged, so the lock has to kill it and I get to loot it.

It's a good system, imo.
