Okay.

1st you need to have duel spec.

Then join a BG > get a pet out that requires a shard > die > leave bg or win/lose it > once out of the BG change specs > free shard.


Rinse and repeat > PROFIT!

As usual we have the same people who seem to just wait on post so they can flame.
I never once read that the OP said this is the "best" way to get shards,he's posting just another way to do so.
I guess since im still a leacher with no ePeen title my ego is still in check.
Thanks to the OP for contributing,it's the bads here who post to flame that makes people feel hesitant about posting anything.

i thought you can get shards by draining someone in a duel, thats how my mate gets his shards. seems a bit retarded to join the bg and die for 1 shard.

I thought the generally easiest way to get them was to get the glyph of drain soul and go drain a target dummy till your full on shards.
