AV Exploit (Kinda) >.<

Not entirely sure if this is where this trick belongs but hey!

Last night my dad told me to get off the computer because it was getting really late. So doing as I was told I got off WoW, however I was in the middle of AV and in battle so I couldn't log off.

So, using a mac, I force quit-ed wow (>.<). The next morning when I got back on World of Warcraft I did what I always do, check my inventory (Don't know why I always do it, but you never know what you can find). I found 3 marks of Alterac Valley more than I had last night.

So to sum it up, if you really hate AV but you need your Black War ______ or you want the Horn of the Frostwolf Howler, just kill WoW and hope for the best. Altogether I have done this trick 2 times succesfully out of 6 attempts.

I am not sure if it will work in other BG's, but I don't see any reason why it won't.

Not an exploit..at all really not even (Kinda) When you force quit or even logout you have a 5min timer to get reconnected or back in-game b4 you are taken out of the bg (deserter free). During those 5mins if your team wins well then you get the points because you were really still in it when they won. Works for every BG kinda pointless tho unless your sure they are going to win in 5mins or less and want to play an alt. /shrug

Could try to get an alt in the same BG right b4 they win and get tokens for both of em..just thought of that:wave:..again would just have to be lucky.

Well in my case it was somewhere between 10-12 hours. So yeah I wasn't sure were to put it. Meh. Good idea with the alts thing.

It's not an exploit. You won while your character still was logged in.

You logged off, and 10 hours later you log in and see that you've gotten three marks. As i said, you won while your character was in-game still.

If you force the game to exit, you will still be standing on the spot where you "logged" for approx 20 seconds. So most probably you were very lucky and the AV finished within the next 20 seconds.

Yea it's just a tip, also about trying to get 2 chars in on the same bg... that can't be done. When you log in an alt your other char auto logs out, I've already tried that because in old games you could log out, log in an alt, log in and trade the char that was still in the game, then log back to the char and complete the trade.. alas this doesn't work in wow.

NEWSFLASH! this is the oldest trick in the book.

& btw, it doesn't allways work. When you force quit WoW while in BG your charecter exsist in WoW for about 5mins. So while those 5 mins passed you must of won.
