V nice post, tried this as a ret paladin, got it to work.

If any melee trying to figure how to make this work, heres how I did it. I pulled midnight to the front of the cart of hay that is right next to him, if you back him up the hay stack, midnight will actually walk up on top of it. Once up there I used seal of corruption to dot him up. When he got to 96% I jumped down and started to run. Midnight had to run back off the way he came to catch up to me, giving me more than enough time. Attuneman spawned by the haystack while midnight was in the next stable over with me. I'll post pics next week when i do it again if needed.

i tried a few times but failed as a DK
my gear isn't that good yet mostly heroic epics.
The problem is not they hit very hard, but the 50% hit reduction.
Maybe i should try leaving my ghoul there to dps him and run away myself.
Before i had that chance though the trash respawned on me

I think he means why your pet was able to survive without you being BM specced.

My guess is that you have the T5 2set bonus

Same here ... Heroics geared ... but i had no problem killing them without even bugging them. What i do is ignore midnight as soon as attumen pops up .... just focus on him. I have a spec with permanent ghoul, improved DS and all heals ... that helps

How you're using Survival Spec to get this done, not overaggroing (can you really handle this by your FD cooldowns and Misdirection?). Aswell as keeping Mend Pet up all the time wouldn't be enough to keep him alive when you're not spec'd the few points in Imp Mend Pet...

All you really need is a Tenacity pet with Blood of the Rhino for the +40% healing. A Glyph of Mending helps too as it adds another +40% healing to your mend pet. Other than that, if you're having aggro problems then switch to Aspect of the Viper at the beginning of the fight until your pet has a good lead, or just stop dpsing completely.
