Wall~walk/jump may be nurfed, there are still ways (NON COFFEE) to get on top of most things in the game, using characters skills.

Some are very effective and simple to use, others may require several attempts, still most classes have skills that may help / lead to get where you are not meant to:

Chaman: waterwalk | ?
Druid: ?
Hunter: fear (beasts) | pet | ?
Mage: blink | iceblock | slowfall | polymorph | ?
Priest: mindcontrol | fear | slowfall | ?
Paladin: ?
Rogue: sprint | ?
Warrior: charge | fear | ?
Warlock: Seduce| fear | pet | ?

Enginer: charge | mindcontrol (pet like)
Others: ?


All those skills may be helpfull to explorations at one time or another.
They can be used solo, but teams is what works bests.
A few classes are really great when used together, there are very few explorations that can't be done using 'teamwork' (Remember no coffee)


Example: Warriors and Warlocks are definitely great exploration friends:
The warlock can fear the warrior and/or use his pet to allow the warrior to cross too step terrain using charge. (the warlock stands at a side of the hill, the warriors stands at the other side, then the warlock sends his pet to attack the warrior, in most cases the pet will go in straight line to the warrior ignoring the 'unwalkable' terrain since it's AI controlled, and allow the warrior to charge up to that place.) Same goes with hunter.

Here is a short clip showing an 'alternative' way to get on top of Orgrimmar from Azshara with the help a Warlock using fear + charge. I could have asked him just to fear me up there, but I prefered to 'bring' him up there with me

At the end of the clip, the warlock stays too close of the cliff's edge so I fall down after the charge, but it's still a working method.

I felt like I would open this subject which is pretty huge, I detailed only charge / fear usage but there are many other ways of using character's skills to get up things, now feel free to comment / share ideas about how it is done.

This isn't wallwalking. This is a technique to scale walls, yes, but you aren't actually WALKING. I'm not gonna be a douche and say it's useless..cos you've proved it isn't.

But wallwalking should encompass being able to steer yourself properly and not have to worry about needing to break fear early in case you go too far. *nostalgias* ahh..pre-bc..that was when it was truly f*kin epic.

the old method didn't require you run into the wall and 'click' which is the only reason this works. and that 'click' is an exploit in itself, regardless of the difficulty

This is NOT wallwalking. You should have seen my face when I read this thread, I closed out of mmowned and went straight onto WoW and tried to wallwalk. Didn't work, I opened the thread and saw a video of you doing the old trick of fearing up mountains. Really? And you got tons of rep for it too? /sigh, I should have posted this 4 years ago
