This has been mostly fixed because they made the chest be locked usually. Even as a Rogue with maxed Lockpicking you'll fail most of the time and die.

I wouldn't reccomend it.

that is no problem at all if you go naked you lose no Durabilty so therefore you lose nothing for a failed attempt except 1 flash powder. if you fail just jump up on the said in the corner fast and you get enough time to stealth again or get ooc. I am still doing this as im typing this post.

SOrry I just have to say to the morons that say this has been patched and yada yada.....

The chests ALWAYS randomly were either locked or not locked..... this isn't something new to the game. Goto any instance sometimes they are organe locked and sometimes theya re not... from ramparts to Tempeest keep this is not a new game mechanic lol noobs. And to the person who says its not worth it....................

3400 gold in 2 days says that you don't know WTF your talking about. But by all means sit there and say it doesn't work r its nurfed whiel the rest of us famring laugh as you scrape to sell off some Netherweave cloth and herbs to cover raiding repair bills LMAO


To those who are farming ... the chest can sapwn in 3 locations..... beside the 2 ramps... if not there then int he back right hand corner near the first boss I am going to post a video on how to loo tthe 3rd location...

YES... currently I can farm any 3 of the chests spawn locations... so 5 trips an hour ... and I loot a chest every time no matter where it spawns.
Now who says it isn't worth it now??? :P

as of 7:45 est, 2/5 times spawns a locked chest and every time i have tried to open the locked chest it only opens on the second try, meaning its hard to get it. Might just be horrible luck or a quick hotfix by blizz.

SO you have to make 2 attempts on locked chests?? And this makes it not worth while??? LAWL....

I just bought my second epic mount 5.2k in 3 and a half days from famrign this place.
SOme peopel may sulk they won't get the chests first attempt and then the more persistant peopel like my self will be rolling in gold lol

I fail some picks as well on the lockled ones but I go back and try again.
Would rather do that then slay countless dmeosn and crap over and over

I do 10 run morning before going to job
10 run when I come back
10 more run before going bed

.. Take me 25min for 5runs.. after I send item to my alt, go farm consortium or I logout 35min and restart..

I did 2700golds in 3days. And im not playing a lot.

I disenchant everything except 14g+ blue weapon/armor

im 350 and its orange.., but normally, at least 3/5 are not locked.. and when its locked, only requier few try.. im subtelty too, so i can reset my vanish

Nope but i do get the Bringer of Death staff a lot wich sell for 200g BO on my server.

Ive done it a few times and now i have 3k gold rdy to spend on whatever i want.
everytime im on wow i do this 5 times an hour, takes me 20 minutes. Then i go to an alt or do somethings else and an hour later ill do it again and again!

im going naked and i wear a sword and a throw weapon, both without durability so i can sap and pull the groups.

i got like 10-15blue now, but always the same level 69/70 like Ced, Crimson robe, mail belt, rogue 69chest..., and normally dont worth 15g :S
