Jump on mount while in water

Well i was leveling in dragon blight and there was a little ice block i was trying to jump on but couldnt manage to get all the way up out of the water so as i was going to get on my mount and run around when i noticed for a second my mount was just standing then fell so i did again i figured this out

so you swim as far up as you can and then mount up

and you only have a short while to press forward a bit and jump at the same time if you just press forward u will fall

Uhmmm, i didn`t get it? Of course i might totally misunderstand you since i was under the impression that you won`t loose your mount in the water since the last patch, and jumping with your mount while in water is just a common game mechanics. The only mount you can`t swim with is the flying mount.

From what I understand. This is just saying that, when you're at the top of the water, you mount up, and you have a tiny window of time to jump while mounted before you sink. If it works, although not very useful imo, it is in fact an exploit of game mechanics, allowing you a tiny bit more mobility. But, wouldn't just fly mounting in Northrend make this useless?

Sigh he is saying when you first mount up in water you can do a mount on land jump 100% speed not at the swim speed of 40% or something. So because of that jump he was able to get to the floating ice.

Well .. It's now kinda useless cuz now Blizzard allowed Mounting in Water :-D

its not the fact that u can mount in water if u guys could read...
its that within a few seconds of mounting u can jump normal height out of water
