Didn't see it posted so i guess i will...
When you are doing the skettis quests and a Monstrous Kaliri starts attacking you (while flying) just fly straight up and they wont touch you...
Not super amazing but it saves you the trouble of having to set down and eat food

    Re: monstrous kaliri

Common sense really, if you don't want to get attacked, RUN ! ( or in this case, FLY ! )
You can easily avoid them tho.
Might be useful to some , I think

This isn't common sense or common knowledge, he's not saying run away, he's saying if you fly straight up they go away faster. Nice trick

    Re: monstrous kaliri

Noticed this myself first time I was there. They can catch up to epic flying mount if flying "sideways", but they can't fly very fast upwards or downwards.

Those mobs truly are among the most evil in the game. Can daze you on the first hit, which means instadeath for a lot of classes when not flying over water. And it's hard to avoid the very first hit when you don't see the bird coming >.<

I thought you were supposed to be immune to daze/stun/sheep etc when flying?

    Re: monstrous kaliri

They seem to always hamstring me first. Flying straight up does definately beat the damn things, though, even while hamstrung!
