I accidentally bought the wrong BoA, but I didn't realize until I had already sent it to my alt. When I sent them back to change, the timer was indeed still there.
Might be a specific character bug and not work for everyone?
Nice find.
This looks fine..
i love it how some ppl still say this doesnt work when it obviously does
Well, how long could you "save" the timer up then? If 5min - 15min don't make a difference (still 1h59m on the clock in all tested cases obviously), how about 60min? or 380min?
Could I basically buy the item at 6 o'clock in the morning, send it to an Alt and use it up until 7pm, while still be able to trade it back on my main?
If not, then this exploit would be nice, but not very usefull. Because if you have to send it back and trade it back every 15 oder maybe 20 minutes... well... hindersome, isn't it?
I want to level my Alt, that's what I bought it for. Not to camp the mailboxes.
nice,i'll try this.
The reason the timer disappear when you send them to an alt is not that you won't be able to sell them anymore but the fact that you can't sell the BoA with that CHAR. But if you send it back to the CHAR that bought the item in the first place you will see that timer again. I bought the BoA bow and sent it to a level 1 just to try out that +40 crit rating scope thingy (which worked and gave me like 50% crit and +40 haste gave me 100+% increased attack speed). Anyways after having some fun with that dueling others in the starting area i just sent it back and sold it for a full refund. And when i had sent it to my level 1 the timer disappeared, but it returned when i sent it back to the char that bought it.
