    Yogg-Saron: Pull Exploit

As SOME of you know, the Yogg Saron encounters first phase consists of pulling Guardians of Yogg-Saron, and killing them while they are positioned near Sara, who stands in the center of the room.

Upon their death, they explode, doing damage to Sara, and when she dies, this pushes the fight into phase two.

Some of you ALSO know: The longer you are into phase one, the more adds that spawn in smaller time intervals.

So to make phase one easier we have discovered this nifty tactic.

The Yogg Saron encounter is started by a raid entering about 10 yards into the room. Luckily, mages can invis into the room, and rogues can stealth. Sadly, the green clouds around the room pull rogues out of stealth, but do NOT pull mages out of invis.

So what were going to do?

Send a mage into the room while invis, direct him by word of mouth over vent as to which direction to go, and have the mage walk through anywhere from 1 to 4 of the clouds, depending on how many adds your guild is comfortable with. The mage then walks back toward the entrance and hopefully gets out before he comes out of invis.

To make this even easier: If you have a warlock in the raid, you can toss the mage a summon before he even runs in the room, this allows him to take his time finding the clouds, and then accept the summon when he needs to.

The mobs, because they have such HUGE aggro ranged, will come running toward you.
Have your raid burn them down very low, then start the encounter, pulling the damaged mobs to sara and finishing them off.

    And viola!
    A much quicker phase one.

    Best of luck

Feel free to check out my guide too!

Not the greatest, as its literally the FIRST guide I've ever written, but after a good 100 yogg attempts then two successful kills, I would say it has all details needed.

    Its his thread.
Wasting your time costs you $15, wasting 24 other peoples time costs $360. Raid right or dont raid at all.

Amazing exploit should it work. However my guild is piss poor at stopping dps on the adds so we would just blow them up before they got back to sara =(

Haven't killed him since the nerf, but that should of made phase one even more of a joke. This is really unnecessary, and may actually lead your raid into taking more damage then needed.

With 2 or more adds up like that you have a chance of an interrupt not going off and your raid eating the shadowbolt, or your tank/healers getting MC'd.

When you run in, have your tank run through one cloud at the start. That puts you ahead of the spawn timer, and unless your dps is amazingly fail, you will only have one up at a time.

Have your tank stand in the center of the room and taunt there as they come out.

Sever first, top 100 US tends to say, even after the nerf this is ****ing fantastic, if you cant heal though it you fail.
And if you cant interrupt, lol @ you.

But server first US 9001th(inb4 no one cares) says this can also add complications and having your tank run through one cloud at the start makes it much much easier with less complications.

If this works for you, hey, go ahead and use it. The whole invisibility not trigging the encounter is a pretty good find,
