Arena {EPIC} Exploit!

Bit you have like 20 seconds since you get in the arena and till it actually starts. Any HoT will be consumed before the battle starts. Am I right ? :-/

i heared that you cant HoT yourself before the gates open

his exploit is you can HoT the pets before the gates open

I haven't played arena since woltk, but in tbc i always used hots, and they didn't get removed.....

I thought it was that if a buff has less than 30 sec remaining it gets removed at start of arena match?

Thats the point people fail to spot..
It does work too, but apparently not on pets..
This is indeed an exploit, but not close to an epic one as the title states..

this is an ok exploit, not epic by any means but nifty, a little bit of mana that can be saved never hurts

So i'm confused. Does the HoT not run out or something? Or is it just that you can HoT them before it starts?

Does this provide some subtle difference to just hotting the pet after you leave the room? I guess a very slight mana cost.
