Skill mining extremely easy! lvl 71 req

Tried,does work.but the problem is it only lets you level up 1-40.I have 402 in mining and spent nearly an hour trying to get at least one skill up point,but no luck.Alliance did have a quest like this,but blizard hotfixxed it really fast.I would be surprised if they did this one

Well that's not really true.. If you look at my screenshot Im skilling at 50+ and getting skill at every ore. Im gonna go mine some more of this quest now and see how far it will take me. If it doesnt take you all the way up to 450 its still a nice way to get this first skill points without having to run around in booring starting zones.


Update: Got to 75 in about 10 minutes... cant be arsed to find a mining trainer so i can go over 75 cap..

There is a quest in Storm Peaks Quest: Rare Earth - Thottbot: World of Warcraft that levels your mining up ,so I guess if you've finished this quest you still have a chance. It maxes around 75 though.

I've used this ages ago. ^^ It works untill skill 420 then you have to do the rest yourself with Saronite ^^

from what i've understood shuold work for alliance aswell?

You have to delete the samples/ores/quest items before they reach as stack of 10 because then you have to abandone and repick up the quest. But if you just delete the ores before they reach 10 in your bag you can keep mining there!

Using a mod like Looter/LootFilter or w/e will be great for this. Turn auto loot on, Set your loot filter mod to delete this item when you loot it and you'll get the skill up every time w/o having to worry about gathering 10 ore.

You have to do about 3-4 pre-quests in wintergarde keep for 7th legion and then you can get the mining quest. Its not a long chain.
