Uh, yes they do. Red mount dropped 3 times for me in the course of a 4-5 hours farming.

I can confirm this, lowest droprate of all, but they drop...

For me, after 1Hr farming:

6 Blue ones
5 yellow ones
2 green ones
1 red

I do not see how this is an exploit, at all.

A guide, at the most, as well as a very very old trick, which started back in the MC days.

This works with any item, and nearly every trash pull in instances, used to farm drops.

Sunwell for example:
"FORMING SUNWELL TRASH FARMING GROUP"
You would go to the first "pack" of mobs, kill all but one, sheep the last, check for loot, then zone out.

Come back, rinse, repeat.

As far as the red mount goes:
This mount is known to be rare.
If you noticed when you got them, its a Feat of Strength; Because it's Red.

TBH I honestly see this as common sense. ANYONE who raids knows a pack resets if you wipe or zone out (AKA it just plain resets). I did this with a shaman bud of mine and its insanely easy. Nice "exploit" I guess, but as I said before, if you have ever raided then it is just common sense it would reset with 1 mob alive.

hmm might go back then been farming for 9 hours with guildies and never seen the red one. also on wowhead lootlist they aint showin :S
