Play WoW Free! (Using Debit Card)

Heres exactly what I did to be able to do this.
1) Create 10 Day trial BC
2) On the last day of the trial, add your debit card. My Debit Card only had like 3 bucks on it, so that might be the key.
3) The "My Account" page will say that your payment is pending for about a day, then it will tell you its frozen.
4) Log on to WoW, you can still play.



Notice *Game Time Expires* and *Last* Login

Hope this wasn't a one time thing!

Actually you can do this everytime your subscription expires, you can stay in wow till maintenance comes, and sometimes even if you disconnect and account says frozen you can log back in.
I know a guy whos playing 3-5 days free every month — just staying in wow all the time (using antiafk). One thing here, you can change characters, but not server.

Yeap, I was just about to say what streetska8er said.

If you do that, and they try to charge you $14 or whatever subscription plan you chose, and you got $3 only, then you will have a negative amount in your card and the bank will charge you $5 everyday for that until you deposit money into it. And right when you deposit your money in, $14 is going to go to WoW right away.

In other words, this WONT work.

If I have a prepaid card, I can't go into negative.
So, does this also work with a prepaid visa card, on wich are ~ 2 bucks ?!

it was one of those simon mall gift cards that i got like 6 months ago, does that change anything.

If they actually did charge it and it went negative then my account page would say that i have an active subscription.

Edit: just tried logging on and it saidmy time expired.

I'd just like to add that the title says DEBIT card.
You cant go into the red with one, at least not the one I have (Visa Electron)
and when I had a Solo card, that also couldnt go negative. Trying to
pay for something you couldnt afford would result in an 'insufficient funds' error.
I have a basic cardcash account, no credit, no overdraft, just debit facilities.
Setting up a direct debit with a company is slightly different, as they use your bank account details, not the debit card details, and that is possible to take you into the red and incur bank fee's
