DK swimming in mid air video and HOWto

This requires the you be a Death Knight + Tailor, with a flying carpet, and the DK only flying mount.

This is a video of me, flying around the tower in Dragonblight on a live server, pre 3.1.0.
It very well might be nerfed next patch.

To do this I mounted my carpet, then without dismounting, mounted my DK mount. Then I click the dismount button, and began to swim/float.

My friend who was flying near me said that to her, it still appeared as though I was on my DK mount, so this is purely for your own enjoyment. It may only work when you do it from the top of the tower in dragonblight, with an epic mount.

I haven't tested this with other scenarios.

this has worked with the DK flyer for quite some time with all vehicle mounts... however... why teh heck would anyone level their DK as a tailor... the flyin rug and bags dont make it worth it imo

Plenty of money in tailoring, on my server anyway. My other char is also an enchanter, so I send stuff to him to DE for mega profitz :wave:

Mining doesn't have any mounts, you're right there, but with BS you can get a helicopter and a motorbike. So actually there's more mounts in BS then tailoring.

My DK is Tailor/Enchanter because they can solo most of the leveling instance (other than my rogue), so picking up Cloth and Enchanting stuff isn't that hard of a job.
