I am 100% sure this is NOT working as intended as Snowae states. No way blizzard intends you to use drakes in P1 and let Maly evade to reset the achievement timer... if you mean that what happens (the timer resets, the boss evades) is working as intended in that situation then yes, that is intended as a general precaution rule. However in this particular case its about exploiting that precaution rule to get effects which Blizz did not intended to happen.

On topic, this sounds interesting and i want to try it but I have no clue how to get the drakes in p1 to start with so ill probably have to look up some older threats on the subject. It would be nice if exploits dont assume you have knowledge of other stuff and instead post a step by step walkthrough to complete the exploit.

Ok so we just tried this, We got the rogues and mages on drakes, but they couldnt actually aggro the boss and evade him... when they flew up in the air malygos would just wipe the raid on the ground.


Am i missing something here? How are you keeping aggro as a drake rider to sustain the evading? I dont see how 50+ stacks can be built up without either the drake rider dying because hes on the ground, or the rest of the raid getting wiped.

Please explain further, someone who has actually done this.

Did maly tonight, and priest managed to bug it, I'm not going to say how, but this does in fact work, and we've used it to our advantage
sorry for all the blocks, and I have multiple pics, only thing is, it despawns at the end of p2, so you can't really get that kind of advantage

arg i think some dont undertand me right, i know that the Stealth + Keepdragon is nothing new (i didn´t posted this)

I said that you can aggro malygos while on a drake and standing on the ground and that he evades when you fly up, resets his health but the debuffsstacks stay ! and this is something new, so you can put up so many stacks that he will drop to 1% while the phase changes from 1 to 2, he cant die until p3 starts but then he only got oneshotted by Alexstrasza.

So you can do it like this, stack up dots until 60%, aggro him, stack up dots until 60%, aggro him and so on, until there are so many stacks up that they will tick for ~100k or more, that should be enough, staying in the sparks, tricks of the trade, curse of elements and so on will also increase the dragons dmg, we killed him with 7 people in 4minutes (havnt heroism for phase 2)
