If you have a lvl 80 shaman and want to boost a friend you might know that totems gives lowbies the full effect. +155 str/agi from the Strength of Earth Totem is quite impressive for a lvl 10.
But the drawback is that the experience gain is so low when the shaman is around that it's not worth it. Well, there's a solution to that.
1. Get your Shaman and the lowbie grouped up.
2. Put down your totems near a group of mobs.
3. Pull the shaman back so that he's just barely in range of the totems before they despawn, but make sure you're out of range for the mobs you want the lowbie to kill.
4. The lowbie now has full effect from the totems, and if positioned properly the shaman will be out of range of the fighting, so the exp gain will still be full.
You can use the same thing with Eyes of the Beast as a hunter. Make sure the hunter is out of range of the fighting. Use Eyes of the Beast to run your pet to the lowbie. Have the lowbie hit the mob once and then one-shot the mobs with the pet and the lowbie will get full experience.
