    [DK] Death grip in mid-air

If somebody is too far up to be death gripped from the ground, here's what to do:

Go up until you are in range of the victim, and cancel your mount buff att the exact same time as you press death grip. The victim will be gripped down to ground level before you have even fell down.

If you are too slow, you will get the "Can't do that while moving" error message.

    Have fun!
    Aap?

You meen you fly up with ur flying mount, dismount and death grip at the same time and he'll come down? Pretty useless if u ain't on a PvP serv if u ask me.
I am Swedish and I like green! And most other colours too!

if you fall to your death this is pointless, if you dont it could be fun..

also a macro that cancells your mount and then death grips any enemys within range would work here i guess

I dont mean that far up, and if you do it that far up you can use some kind of slow fall :P But the real usefulness is if the target is 10-20 feet above range

OR! you could untick the box in the options that stops you from auto dismounting when casting a spell, then use Deathgrip and you dont have to worry about dismounting yourself. also this is working as intended.

ok, some of the posters above me made no sense whatsoever.

If I am not mistaken, does this mean by death grip and release mount at the same time, you will pull another ally to the death with you? (assuming if you don't have slow fall cloak).

If this is indeed what I interpreted and works, it could be epic on pvp realms.

this is amazing combined with the parachute cloak from engineering, been spending all day on my DK jumping off naxx and popping parachute cloak, emoting the horde when they fall.
