Love is in the air : Love Token to Guard (bug / exploit)

Heres a bug which is exploitable and not banable, but not working as intented.


When you give a love token, the guard is "healed" of a buff using an AURA.


Sometimes, this aura affect another guard and takes its instead.



Female guard to left, male guard to right.

The thing is, you give the token to the female, you "heal" the female by stealing the male guards heart instead - allowing you to token the same guart twice.


Complicated?
1. Female guard steals male guards "heart" through this example.
2. The female is now token'd twice, the male got no heart.



Go on and comfirm.
This saves alot perfume wastes.

P.S dont work always, but it really often works when you are closer to the other guard your not speaking to.

You do get Adored, but the meaning here is to "skip" the gender if there is a nearby guard with opposite gender.

I dont think its working as intented if you "steal" the heart of a nearby guard which doesnt like your smell. (cologne / perfume)

Pretty worthless, but I can confirm it, if you wear perfume, so you should only be able to flirt with females, you can get the flirt from first a male and then a female. Works well in Thunderbluff.

first off giving a guard a "Love Token" and he will reward you with a "Pledge of Friendship" this box can contain either a "Pledge of Loyalty" or a guards "Card"

"Pledge of Friendship" are pretty easy to come by the limiting factor even on high populated servers is the slim chance of the debuff "Heart Broken"

Non guard Npc´s will reward youre "Love Token" with a "Gift of Friendship" in some citys theese NPC´s are few and far apart wich will result in alot of wasted time waiting and running from A->B.

the trick is that you can steal the "heart buff" from a different NPC than the one youre talking to, the way it works is range, you simply have to be closer to the NPC you want to steal from than you are to the NPC youre interacting with.
This works best on low populated servers or at hours where not many are interacting with the NPC´s.


Using the buff or charge on another NPC than the one youre infact interacting with is not working as intended, thus makes it an exploit wich i doubt youll get banned for.

Ie. Bimble Longberry the female gnome fruit seller in Ironforge patrols in the mysticward getting close to several guards makeing it possible to steal their buffs instead of hers.

I can confirm this, I did this outside the SW bank on the 2 guards near the entrance. I gave the token to the one I talked to but the heart disappeared on the other1.
