I just noticed this patch, which i'm guessing means that it just happened, at least for my mount.

To all those who don't understand:

GCD = Global Cool Down = The cooldown on everything that happens when you click a button. Can be shorter for some classes / abilities but its base is 1.5 seconds.

What can you do with this?

As people said, its not a huge deal, but it is an exploit and it means that you can use an instant cast and start the cast at the same time. You can hit an run someone or just get off quickly after an instant buff.

This is an exploit, and its not a repost, at least for the Kodo.

An exploit is something you take advantage of that isn't working as intended. Mounts being off GCD is working as intended, I can guarantee it. It's true some weren't off GCD but that's because mounts got turned into spells for 3.0 and that messed it up. It seemed like all the new mounts for 3.0 were the ones off the GCD so it was some technical thing most likely.

Before 3.0 ALL mounts were off GCD because they were items. How can this possibly be an exploit if they were off GCD for about 4 years in the first place?
