Upon instance reset skip to last boss

I just discovered something quite funny that I didnt know was possible. Basically I am after the epic ring from final boss drektharon keep, we started running it 45 mins before instance reset.

We killed the boss 5 mins before the reset and the damn ring didnt drop, then we decided to try something.

1. Warlock summoned us to near the final boss.

2. Instances reset and we where ported to HS location.

3. Accepted the summon.

4. Did final boss again this time the ring dropped!

this used to work for 5 man kaelthas dungeon, but it has been fixed a long time ago. maybe blizz broke something again will go test it out

would also only work if it still does just before the instance resets.. not really worth trying to time it just so you are there then..

You can't reset heroic instances, only normal, so this is not so useful because nobody farm normal instances,

The OP meant the server reset of the instance that is done once a day, not soft reset a player can do in reg. run.

I wonder if this could be done in Naxx to port directly to Sarth without clearing all of the wings first, too. Unless instances reset when servers go down...

Only on server restarts, and that's still hard, pats, mobs, and what-not.
