Easy Wintergrasp/SotA win

Vehicle required.

Wintergrasp:

Drive a vehicle preferrably demolisher to the relic gate. Stop and quickly position your self paralell to the door. Wait until the vehicle is destroyed. Your character then will be ejected from the vehicle, through the door and into the relic chamber. Easy cap.

Strand of the Ancients:

Drive vehicle to Gate (if successful) keep running into after reaching it. Moments before getting destroyed move to the left passager seat. You should get thrown to the oppisite side of the gate unharmed. Click on relic to capture.

I've done this many times, and I can confirm it works with both Alliance and Horde.

I grandly apologize if this is a re-re. Please post the link to the thread that shows this method.

I tried to log out in at the wintergrasp relic for 2:30h to test that 'exploit', but then I realized that you can't tap the relic if the gate is not destroyed yet.

So this will not work in wintergrasp.


In SotA it will be the same I think, but I can give it a try.

Sorry man, but it can't be capped anymore. Mages have been blinking in for a while now - they hotfixed it.

Acctoualy mages werent just blinking in, there was an terain exploit all over the mountains. You just had to blink on begining becouse of invisible wall. But still Relic cant be captured if the Gates are not destroyed. You can just camp in there on standby mode.

And yeah, this isn't possible anymore the gate has to be killed before the orb is clickable.

This isnt useless. At all.

You get in the room, stand behind the large relic and wait until your friends destroy the gate. Right when they destroy it, you click the relic. Since the opposing team dont really know you are there, and they cant see you, it should be an easy cap.

ah, if you have an alt. you can just leave them in the room logged out til wintergrasp starts, then log in and you will still be in the room.
_but_ as numerous people have pointed out, you can't cap before the gates are down and there is always (atleast on my server) an alliance / horde player or two in the room.
probably because alot of them seem to read this forum.

Yes. I know of the hot fix, and when I posted this I forgot to mention that.
