Easy Wintergrasp Achievement/Raid When your faction doesnt control

Hey guys while playing around on my mage i learned i could easily get a group into the temple really easy and heres how.

Step 1 run to the front
Step 2 Click the defender portals till you get to the end
Step 3 Zone in and raid if you have the group


Optional we snuck a group in early and capping was easy. Have fun killing wintersgrasp and raiding while your faction doesnt have control

thats the exploit... it allows you to i guess in between battles

Uhh its really easy to test run to the front gate click the defenders telaport i dont really care if you believe me it works and im to lazy to upload a screenshot

I'm confused....example: You are a horde and alliance have control. Are you saying as the horde run up click the defenders portals till you get to the very back then take wintergrasp from the alliance? If so...can't be done because if alliance have control only alliance can use the defenders portals...same with horde...and I don't see how using this to go to the temple while you have it under control helps you...yeah I'm lost.

He is trying to say (from what I gather) that using the portals between fights allows you to get there early, and start the fight.

I could be wrong though.

As far as I've experienced myself, the portals are unclickable unless your own faction controls wintergrasp. Ofc, I could be wrong, but this is just what I've experienced in previous fights.

i do this all the time to get to the vendor in there def portals are usable by the faction not using it while no battle is on.

Just tried myself and the portal DID work. I guess you're right, it doesn't work during the event but in between it allows you to use it. Sneaky! + rep

yup we usually sneak a raid group in and set up so theey dotnt get turrets. Defenders portals can be clicked by anyone in between battles but when the battle starts only the team in control can use

Ok, I just tried this again to see if I could quickly win AND YOU CAN'T!!! I used the portals, like before, but this time I waited for the battle to start and the yellow orb appeared. It does not let you destroy it until the wall has been destroyed, an apparant protection mechanism from blizzard on this.

But, it was still helpful as I got 5 guys in the bast with me and we just went around and took out almost all of their turrets before they wiped us. By then we all could hop in a vehicle and w/o any turret resistance we rolled over their base in like 5 min.

But AGAIN, you CANNOT use this for an instant win, you still have to have a siege vehicle to destroy that last wall, and to even get there you need to destroy the other 2.

thats odd it wasnt like that the other day mayby hot fixed ill go check it out again ... yea the turret thing is sooo nice still though
