Spy Hunter quest

Sons of Hodir dailys are a pain in the butt, and I don't know if could really be considered an exploit but here it is for you anyway.

On the quest Spy Hunter where you have to summon that damn wolf and wait forever until he sniffs all around and finally reveals a spy to you, I found a way to speed it up.

Soon as you summon your wolf pet thingy, get on your Flying mount and hover just off the ground. The wolf goes into warp speed mode and goes about 200% faster than before, thus revealing your spys quicker. You can cut your time on this quest in half.

FYI, I searched for the term "Spy Hunter" which is the name of the quest and could not find a previous post mentioning it. I doubt its a huge exploit but if it helps you through that quest a bit faster each day, then amen brothers.

This does work. I already knew about it or I would rep. Sorry, thought it was kind of common knowledge.

That, and I prefer to kill the worms while I wait on the wolf anyway for the other daily.



Oh, and to make it really fast, invite people around you, you get group credit. Works on Blowing Hodir's Horn too.





Oh, and I find it hilarious that to get to exalted you thrust some guys spear, blow his horn, and polish his helm every day for a month. If you blew my horn every day for a month, you'd be exalted with me too.

I actually timed this with the blizzard stop watch. It does not speed anything up the wolf moves quicker but takes just as long as you do it on ground. Its on a 1min timer no rep for you.

How is "mount up and hover above the ground the make the wolf go faster" common knowledge? You people calling it that stink of bullshit.

NIce it works. The very first time he appears after you mount he is slow. But as soon as he does his little "after a moment's pause..." he speeds right up.
