Piss somebody off in arena

I've been around for a long time and have yet to post anything even somewhat useful , everytime I come across something big or small it always seems like somebody has beat me to it

With that said I've found a "creative" use of game mechanics if you're feeling like going afk or want to grab a drink/take a break after getting farmed by that team that you just can't seem to beat but would like nothing more then to piss them off try this

Requires : 1 snowman costume and an arena team and dalaran sewers map


It is quite simple actually , everybody knows you start off up top where you are unreachable by players and out of los if you stand all the way in the back , now a gush of water comes out every so often that will knock you in the arena ... if you use a snowman costume you cannot move or be moved.

If you havn't guessed where im going with this you join dalaran sewers run to the back of the area you start at put on your snowman costume type /dance and watch as your opponents cannot lay a hand on you , go for a shower or grab some food while you grief them , heck you might get some points out of iit for getting the to afk from getting pissed .. its hapenned to me about 4 times already




I know this isn't big but it can get you some free points while afking and sometimes its just fun to grief people

I dont pvp much, but cant ranged attacks still get to you? Also i thought you couldnt use costumes in arena's.

You can use the snowman (thats the real bug), and if you sit in the back of the pipe it's line of site for ranged dps to hit you. Hunters can send there pets after you I think, but that's about it.

Hah, talk about easy arena points? Sadly this will probably get patch soon :/

Yes they can see you, especially if they have V-Targeting enabled. It's a very easy way to get a temp ban or your arena points \ gear removed. I personally don't recommend messing with it unless your a stealth class, and even then, if the team is patient enough to wait for shadowsight your in trouble.

You must not arena for ratings because no one is ****ing stupid enough to afk out of a rrated arena match especially if they know your exploiting, and will promptly contact a GM to ban you... also especially since if you contact a GM during an arena match you have highest priority and get in contact with a GM with in 10 minutes of arena.

You will not get banned for this , the gm will merely teleport you to the middle in the worse case scenario and they will kill you.

Chances of somebody carrying through with their gm petition are slim to none considering the average wait time is 45 minutes to an hour with the exception if you're high rated.

People can see you with nameplates but will be unable to attack you if you stand all the way in the back , sorry if there was any confusion there

You will automatically leave arena when you get set AFK.
