What ever you do, don't send it through the mail to your characters. I just did it and it turned into an "Abandoned Greatsword" Level Req 74.

EDIT:

My mistake It seems I accidently mailed the wrong grey two hand sword. I actually mailed the "Abandoned Greatsword" instead of the other one. But I didn't realize this untill I went back and kill the guy again for a second one. Now I have two atleast lol.
