[WARLOCK] Glyph of Drain Soul bug

Ok so this is Warlock only obviusly.


What you need

1. Glyph of Drain Soul - Thottbot: World of Warcraft
2. Any other minor glyph...I used Glyph of Kilrogg - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

Ok so I was using the drain soul glyph and I decided to change to the kilrogg one. I went to the thing in SW and I changed it out. When I was farming soulshards later I got 2 shards from one mob. im like wtf? bug? so i said whatever and I continued farming...well a few mobs later it did it again. (this was 1-2 weeks ago) I was trying to figure out why it would do this but I didnt know...So a few days goes by and when im omost out of soulshards I start farming and it does it again. I remembered the drain soul glyph. Even though I dont have it anymore it still procs.


I dont know if this will work with all glyphs because im not wasting gold to figure it out but it works on this one...And i dont know if you have to use the Kilrogg one after it...Just experment it and post back.

Yes because killing one, draining its soul, then moving to another and draining its soul without looting the first one is impossible.

Soul shards aren't lootable...

But I get what you're saying. When the glyph actually procs it doesn't say x2 in the log it makes 2 seperate ones so a ss wont do any good.

well its true...i dont see why i would lie about it but ill still take a SS anyways if you want me to.

Get a chatmod which shows timestamps for lines of text, then post a screenie when it occurs. If your chatmod shows seconds, we should be set for proof, yo.

Also do the whole Glyph page thing.

If we are gonna start worrying about photoshopped pictures, then suddenly no SS are good enough.

Sure, its possible to photoshop it, but why go through all that trouble? for 2-3 rep?

i have the SS glyph atm and it never procs!! maybe i need to replace the glyph for it to even work :S

Meh the pro rate on the drain soul glyph is so low it's not even funny. Also why not just leave it in there? It's not like we have any other special glyphs to fill it's spot.

Well im lv 52 so i dont have all the glyph spots yet. Do you guys want a SS or not?
