(Dk only) Take 40% less dmg in lava

Well, I fell into lava after levelling my weaponskill to max on Rothin(pretty sure it's been posted) and I had bone shield on. I noticed though, that the lava was doing much less damage that normal. It was obviously Bone shield that was preventing it from doing full damage BUT unlike any other damage bone shield prevents, lava does NOT use any charges.

Pretty nifty for lava diving ;o

At first I thought, omg... he's posting about bone armor. And i was right...

But, since it doesn't remove 1 of the 4 ticks, it's ... handy in some sort of way? :P

if you re read the tool tip you will see why it doesn't remove a charge

The charge is only removed when YOU attack not when you get hit.

Really? then why am i able to maintain my boneshield throughout an entire raid? i'm sure i have hit things more than 4 times...

It is each damaging hit that lands on YOU. Pretty much like Lightning shield, except we get a buff from it.

Bone shield charges are not removed by periodic damage be it environmental or area of effect. This is working as intended.

Go stand in environmental fire or anything to that effect that deals gradual damage. They remove charges
